Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the lihkedih.click website and the mixing, mastering, and related audio production services provided by Sidechain Audio ("Sidechain Audio," "we," "us"), located at 482 Edgewood Ave SE, Suite 210, Atlanta, GA 30303. By booking a session, submitting a contact form, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Sidechain Audio provides mixing, mastering, vocal production, stem mastering, and related audio engineering services. Specific deliverables, formats, and timelines are agreed upon in writing (including email) prior to the start of each project.
2. Quotes, Payment & Deposits
Quotes provided through our website or in email correspondence are estimates based on the information you provide and may be adjusted after reviewing your session files. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to schedule mixing or mastering work; the remaining balance is due upon delivery of final files, before final unwatermarked/unlimited files are released.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We do not offer a blanket money-back guarantee once work has begun, but we do offer the following:
- Cancellations made with at least 48 hours' notice before a scheduled session receive a full refund of any deposit.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or after mix/mastering work has started, forfeit the deposit but are not billed further.
- Two rounds of revisions are included in each package price; additional revision rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate, quoted in advance.
Because our services are custom, personalized work product, no statutory cooling-off or "right of withdrawal" applies once work has commenced.
4. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing session files, stems, and reference materials in a timely manner, and for confirming you own or are licensed to use all material submitted for mixing or mastering. You are responsible for backing up your original session files; while we retain project files for a reasonable period after delivery, we are not a permanent archive service.
5. File Delivery & Backup
Final mixed and mastered files are delivered digitally (WAV, MP3, or other agreed formats) via secure download link. We retain completed project files for approximately 90 days after delivery as a courtesy backup; after that period, files may be archived or deleted. We recommend downloading and backing up your files immediately upon delivery.
6. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
You retain full ownership of your musical composition and recordings. Sidechain Audio retains no ownership interest in your finished masters. We reserve the right to use brief excerpts (30 seconds or less) of completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing prior to project completion.
7. Limitation of Liability
Sidechain Audio's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from delays, file corruption, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
8. Studio Conduct
If your project involves in-person sessions at our Atlanta studio, you agree to treat our staff, equipment, and facility with respect. Sidechain Audio reserves the right to reschedule or decline sessions involving unsafe, abusive, or illegal conduct.
9. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
10. Dispute Resolution
Before pursuing formal legal action, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]. Most concerns can be resolved directly and quickly.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
